SCVA Qualifier #3 - 2/8/2009
Qualifier 3 is one that we will all remember. We took 1st and won all three matches in 2 games. The energy level was unbelievable and the girls did everything that was asked of them. Everyone stepped up their game and contributed in every way that I asked them too. It was not only a win, it was an OUTSTANDING win. We will not be the only ones who remember this day, all the teams, the ref, the parents and the coaches that we played will remember how infectious the enthusiasm was in the gym when we were in there. They too had some positive and most wonderful comments about our team, so ladies lets keep that going! I am so proud of all you girls and thanks parents and fans for adding to the excitement. -Coach Bonnee
SCVA Qualifier #2 - 2/1/2009
Our second qualifier was a great success for us. Even though the records speak differently and we finished 4th, it is what happened that made it a success. We jumped leaps and bounds from our first qualifier which we had about 70% missed serves, not much talk, rallies or points- to 5% missed serves, awesome rallies, high scores and even a win for qualifier 2. It is of great importance that the girls are always progressing and on the right path to accomplishing their goals which they have set for themselves. A win is not truly special unless it is worth the fight, struggle, and the lessons we learn on the road traveled there. That is what truly makes it special. We must take baby steps before we can run and we must celebrate and appreciate those moments no matter how small. It is in those moments that one will start to build true success. So stay positive, believe in yourself and your team and great things will reveal itself in due time. Great job this weekend girls! -Coach Bonnee. |
