Emily Baghdady is a “true” Maverick. She has coached for the Mavericks Volleyball Club for 6 years now for ages 12 through 16. She also spent one year at Riverside Volleyball Club. Emily has played 7 years of club volleyball (mostly at Mavericks VBC) and played 4 years at Santiago High School for Phil Sutherland. She is the junior varsity head coach at Riverside Poly High School and has also coached at King High School. Emily’s coaching accomplishments include league championships with her high school teams every year and also coaching a 12-1 team to the Division 1 level in SCVA competition.
Emily’s hard work and enthusiasm for the sport is easily apparent at all practices and tournaments. She is one of our most dedicated coaches and will often call extra practices to MAKE SURE her team is up to par. Emily is also a top rated racquetball player and competes all over in tournaments. We are very happy to have her return to the Mavericks!
